Welcome to the research group led by Prof. Song Peng, a Nanyang Assistant Professor jointly appointed at School of Electrical and Electronic Engineering and School of Materials Science and Engineering, Nanyang Technological University. Prof. Song is also a faculty member of Centre for Advanced 2D Materials at National University of Singapore.

We are an experimental group working at the intersections of nanoelectronics, condensed matter physics and materials science. Through highly interdisciplinary research, our long term goal is to use a new degree of freedom, electron spin, to build electronic devices that can meet the ever increasing demand in data storage and computing of our fast evolving information society. Our research findings have been published in top journals, such as Nature, Nature Materials, Advanced Materials, Nano Letters et al.
